The symbolism behind this design is when animals in Ghana were observed climbing a very dangerous Raffia Tree, which had sharp thorns with branches, pointed upward in a steep direction symbolized a challenge. The challenge for these animals were to reach the top which seemed insurmountable. The animals planned, were patient and moved methodically upward and overcame obstacles until they eventually reached their goal.
